Douglas Distefano Joins Soltage, Inc as Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Jersey City, New Jersey- April 16, 2007: Soltage, Inc. announced today that Douglas Distefano has joined Soltage as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Distefano will be responsible for growing revenue and accelerating market share by managing direct and partner sales channels throughout North America.

Mr. Distefano joins Soltage from BEA Systems Inc. where he was responsible for sales to national reseller partners within the US. Prior to that role within BEA Systems Mr. Distefano had built the eastern North American channel system. Previously, Distefano was Sr. Strategy Manager at RealNetworks, responsible for sales to financial, media and pharmaceutical markets within the eastern US. Prior to RealNetworks, Douglas was a Provisioned Account Manager at Cisco Systems and worked with two General Electric divisions, Kidder, Peabody & Company and Comstor, in commercial and federal sales.

Distefano earned a B.A. degree in Business Management and Psychology at the University of Hartford, West Hartford, CT. He resides in Rumson, NJ with his wife Alison and their two children Olivia and Luke.
